I'm Leah I'm a young 26 year old (approx. 22-23 yr old mentally). I've studied Media and Marketing and I love to write about dating, single life, Melbourne, travel, music and entertainment.

 

Often confused for Eva Mendes (I wish!), I've lived in Mexico, travelled around most parts of Latin America, Cuba, USA and most recently, Nepal. I like to do things slightly out of the ordinary like dress up in public as Pikachu (for work) and try foods that no one will dare to try (monkey anyone?).

 

I often have no shame singing and dancing in public, infectiously smiling and striking up conversation with strangers. I'm a self-confessed Beyoncé fan (who isn’t?), my ideal dinner date would consist of Beyoncé (of course), Jay-Z, their child (to see how talented she is/will be) and Pharrell Williams.

 

As well as Beyoncé, I'm inspired by other strong, independent female characters - such as Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler, Parks & Rec), Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling, The Mindy Project), and Jessica Day (Zooey Deschanel, New Girl) - as they all embody modern women successful in their own rights, fully aware, comfortable and confident in their own skins and fearless. I love that they challenge the traditional sense of a woman and support feminism, they inspire me to do the same.
