Who doesn't love a freshly made smoothie or juice?
I love to go to Boost Juice, it's awesome and makes you feel way better about getting something to go. But sometimes getting to a Boost requires way too much effort, and money.
For those times when you’re craving a healthy smoothie but don’t want to get out of our PJs, I have a great, simple and tasty green smoothie that you can make at home!
What you'll need:
-
Diced Pineapple (canned or fresh)
-
Spinach
-
1 banana
-
Grapes
What to do:
There’s no exact measurements in this recipe, but any more than ⅓ of a cup of each ingredient leaves you with a lot of smoothie to drink!
Chuck it all in the blender and give it a whirl until it’s blended. You should be looking at a wonderful shade of green that Elphaba would be proud of.
Trial and error is the only way to go with this recipe, change it up based on personal preferences. I put in twice as much spinach because it’s one of my favourite foods! Don’t be turned off by the spinach, it blends up small and you can hardly taste anything over the grapes and pineapple.
You can also try adding some cucumber for a fresher flavour – but don’t go overboard!
